Toner Foil, Laser Foil, Sleeking Foil & Fusing Foil
Toner foil from Profoil; our own range suitable for the toner foiling process and not for hot foil stamping. Toner foiling is the process of adhering metallic foil to an image area printed with a laser printer. Special toner (or digital ink) reactive foil is required. This process has become hugely popular over recent years with the introduction of simple desktop machines and new names for the process have surfaced, which include sublimation foiling, laser foiling, foil fusing and sleeking. Toner foils do not require hot foil stamping dies and are perfect for low-run, one-off jobs or providing samples/proofs. For a full introduction to toner foils please see our blog post; Introduction to Toner Foiling.
Please note that toner foils are not suitable for hot foil stamping, please see the hot stamping foils for this type of foil.
