The materials used to manufacturer the plates have been specifically chosen for robust performance and extra longevity for extra value for money. We also source the finest heater elements from the United States of America.

Our small Heidelberg T and GTP designs are an extra light weight, high grade aluminum. Our larger plates are steel which have been stress-relieved for additional stability and longevity.

We utilise a unique interwoven design for our internal heater elements that allows for equal heat distribution across your plate – which means no cold spots that you have to avoid during make ready. This is a much improved method over some businesses offering cheaper rod-based element designs similar to much older, original manufacturer plates.

Profoil plates are single-phase 240 or 110v electric system. We can accommodate many international format connections to your existing machines power and thermocouple.

Preference to plate type has moved further towards a honeycomb toggle hook design, which provides a much faster, micro-adjustable method to positioning your dies on to a heater plate. However, Profoil still manufacturers bunter post heater plates if preferred. Embossing plates are also available should you not wish to include the heating element.
